Nectarine and Mango Salsa

Fresh, easy and colorful zesty salsa that is sweet, salty and has slightest kick from jalapenos flavor packed with cilantro. It provides the right mix of sweet and crunchiness. Perfect for summer snack or party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nectarines pitted and diced
  • 1 medium mango peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 diced onion preferably red
  • 1 tablespoon diced jalapeno
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 -1/2 tsp Roasted cumin seeds coarsely ground
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat masala optional
  • Tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers, mini naan - for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, stir together nectarines, mango, red bell pepper, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt to taste, cumin powder. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top of it.
  • Leave it for 10 minutes for the flavors to come together. But it can also be served immediately.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or pita chips, mini naan.
