Ingredients

4tbspOildivided
1tsp1Cumin seeds
1 1Green chilifinely chopped
1Inchpiece Gingergrated

Salt to taste

1/4 - 1/3cupyogurt

Instructions
Chop cleaned okra into desired shape. I chopped it on bias in big chops. Discard the top and slight bottom part.
Take oil in pan on medium heat. Add chopped up okra and saute it for few minutes until it become crispy and looks cooked. Remove it and leave it aside.
Take some more oil in a pan on medium flame. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds. Let them splutter. As soon as they splutter add chopped up green chilies, ginger and garlic. Stir it and cook it for few seconds. Add finely chopped onions.
Saute it until onions are translucent and add tomatoes. Stir and cook until they soften up. Now add all the dry spices red chili, turmeric, coriander-cumin powder and garam masala. Stir and add whisked yogurt.
Add cubed onions and tomatoes too. Give it stir and let them cook just enough to have slight bite to them. Add the okra that was left aside. Mix and garnish it with cilantro.
