For Thanksgiving, I love to make this vegetarian showstopper as I like to call it. Roasted Cauliflower in Cashew Korma Sauce. Vegetarian dishes can also make a great main dish for gatherings. Ofcourse, our Thanksgiving table would have Indianized food. This Gobhi dish is an ode to that both cultures.

Kadhai Paneer is a dish cooked with paneer with bell peppers and onions. Unlike some of the other dishes its not a very saucy dish. The flavors are different too. Whole spices are toasted and ground up, that’s what gives it unique flavor. Its not very creamy or rich dish.

Mirchi ka Salan– Chilies in gravy is a very popular Hyderabadi side dish. It is made using a base gravy prepared with peanuts, sesame seeds, ginger, garlic, and some other whole spices.

Homemade curry paste is so much better than store-bought, and super easy to make! I don’t mind using store-bought when I am rushing to put dinner on the table. But there is a different feeling to homemade. It also has more fresher taste than bottled up paste and you can add enough spice level.

Gujarati Kadhi is a dish made from yogurt and chickpea flour with addition of spices. It has sweet taste from addition of sugar and tangy or sour flavor from yogurt.
